It's been all Kinja'd for the past few hours for me. I was going to post about installing my K&N Typhoon SRI but now I'm all lazy and watching the Knicks so I'll do a short version. Maybe a video later.
The intake sounds really nice. It changes the pitch of the engine note, it almost sounds like a flat four now, quite Subie-ish. With the stock single pipe exhaust on my car, all you reallt here is engine noise which is now dominated by the woosh of the turbo and the hiss of the diverter. I really need to do the exhaust now though because the exhaust note is almost totally drowned out by the woosh of air. Worth the $200, the wait for the initial delivery, and the wait for the replacement 5/8th vent tube.
